Make Liver Patè 👨🍳
Fry one chopped red onion and couple of crushed garlic cloves in a buttery pan. Once browned, put to one side, in the same pan cook 3-4 slices of thick bacon, then put to one side.
In same pan cook chopped chicken(mildest taste), lamb(my favourite) or ox liver (strongest flavour) for approx 5 mins until cooked through to just past medium-rare.
Add all the cooked contents (onion, bacon, liver and pan juices) to a blender, with some extra butter. Whilst blending add a glug of apple cider vinegar (add more if you like vinegar taste, less if not).
Double cream can also be added here, if you like a smoother consistency.
Eat and enjoy straight away or put in jar/sealed container and refrigerate, topping it with a little melted butter for later.
Consume within 5-7days.
